Summer Food-Growing Intensive PDC

We're offering the full PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate) 

as a practical intensive this summer, 

focused on food-growing.   

Dates: from the full moon on the 3rd of July 

to the full moon on the 31st of August.   

There will be another two month intensive from 31st of August to the full moon of the 29th of October that will focus on eco-building.  You can join us for both intensives & take the full Integral Permaculture Design Certificate course in this way (see bottom of the page for full range of options)

NodoEspiral of the PermaCulture Academy is now offering a great new Intensive Practical PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate)

+ we have someone keen on taking on the gardens design in the 8thLife EcoVillage project,

so we decided to offer a special intensive focused on food-growing this summer.

For a ridiculous 162€ per month, in two months (July & August) you can take the practical intensive version of the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) offered by NodoEspiral (see Option B in the table below) in the Canary Islands.

The price includes food, camping accomodation + 20 classes, course materials & practical demonstrations.    You can see lots of location information in the 8thLife.org page

The cost is so low because you will be exchanging 4hours of your work in the gardens (5 days per week) for food & accommodation.

You will be:

• working in the gardens & plant nursery in the mornings, 
• studying & developing your design portfolio in the afternoons 
• & exploring the beautiful island of LaPalma on the weekends.

You need to be enrolled by the 24th of June 

& arrive on site between the 1st & 3rd of July.  

There will be an online induction week from the 25th to the 30th of June where you will meet the other people on the course, familiarize yourself with the program, with the history of EcoVillage project & explore the designs we're developing on site, so that when you arrive you fully understand the context, know your team & are ready to go with your designs & work.

We start with the full moon of the 3rd of July 
& end on the full moon on the 31st of August,
with a fancy-dress party :)

Lots of physical work in the open air, get up early & eat good food,

+ no smoking or alcohol on site.

Bring a tent, beach gear + your laptop if you have one

You will be designing the gardens with your course colleagues, whilst learning how to maintain them, plant, harvest, etc.
